Nice day out at the Yacht Club – perfect weather, nice crowd. Managed to slip in a new song “Sweet Tunes” and a revamped “Belco Blues” for good measure. Thanks to Jacqui Meyers and Ole Nielsen for the photos and Dave Turnbull for the opportunity to play.

Hello friends, we will be playing by Lake Burley Griffin (outside) at the Canberra Yacht Club this Sunday January 9th, 2.30-3.30. Excellent food, beautiful location, nautically themed music (well a couple of songs). Plenty of room to spread out and keep covid safe.

Enjoyed a field trip to Palomino Sound Recorders studio on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia yesterday. The studio was established by Tristen Bird around 12 months ago in this classic cheese factory building at Myponga. Fully kitted out studio, brilliant cafe and market in the same building, micro brewery round the corner – what could be more inducive to making music!! We will be recording our next album here in April 2022 – covid willing!

Sadly, the Yacht Club has cancelled all of today’s music (including us!) because of inclement weather. Stay warm and dry. SW

Getting excited about blowing away a few covid cobwebs at the Yacht Club on Sunday afternoon, November 14th (3.30pm – outside) followed on Monday (15th) by the screening of Nathalie Cerritelli’s video of our song Very Fine Day at the Canberra Short Film Festival (Dendy Canberra – Cinema 6). The gig is free (and they do a pretty good fish and chips!) and tickets for the CSFF can be found here. Love to see you there!
